Church Softball

Rachel just had an amazing idea. And I want someone to follow through with it.

She said: "Don't you think it would be great if someone did a documentary on Church Softball?"

I can imagine it now. A full feature documentary on Church Softball in the style of "Best in Show" and "A Mighty Wind"

It needs to happen.

You make me laugh, well it was Rachel's idea so I guess she made me laugh. Matt would play church softball every Monday night and believe me I saw some things that I would never want to see again. Sweaty gross old men trying to recapture some of their youth...(It didn't work) Sweaty gross old men running the bases so slowly that my 20 month old could have circled the bases twice before they reached second. Sweaty gross old men obviously forgetting that this was supposed to be church softball and that the minister was sitting beside them on the bench. Ha Ha Ha
Basically it consisted of a bunch of sweaty gross old men, who were really sweaty.

Only 90% of the teams are reserved for "fatties and sweaties" the reaming 10% is open to all kinds.

P.S. I'm putting you on my links so you'd BETTER keep that thing updated. Ask my Brother Jeremy what happens when you don't. You can click on my Brother's Blog to get to his link, because I deleted it right off of mine.

I like sweaty old men. I don't know about this documentary, but I might join (or go to) a church so I can be around some sweaty old men. Can you point me in the direction of the fat old man sweat?

I've been hoping for years that I would play some kind of role in Jim's coming to meet Christ, but if it's going to happen because of his "Sweatyoldmanaphelia" then, that's totally cool with me.

Play on you sweaty ol' playa.

What team does Christ play on? I had no idea that this Christ guy plays softball. Josh has been talking this guy up for so long, but I've been ignoring him. Had I known that this dude was a baller, I probably would have tried to hook up with him and his team of sweaty old men sooner. Thanks a lot Josh. Next you'll tell me that his catcher is a midget or something. I can't believe that you've been keeping this sweaty old man/midget catcher softball team a secret team from me. I think I should drive to Wheeling, walk over your stomach, and tell you to "tighten up" like I used to. You are such a selfish person.

Oh yeah, does this Christ guy blog? If he does, I am sure he'd like to see an update of your beer journal.
