New Orleans Update

I was going to publish the journal that I kept while I was in New Orleans, but I haven't reread through it, and I'm not sure I want to do that. So instead, I went true to Joshua style, and made a little slide show of the pictures I have from New Orleans. If you would like to see them outside of the slideshow context, you can go here.

Otherwise, take a look at the video. It's not as nice as it is on my computer when it's seen in full resolution, but you'll get the general idea.

I really liked the video. I have to say that the product placement was shameless. How dare you use an inspirational video on a trip to New Orleans to help aid in the rebuilding efforts with a Christian song as the soundtrack to try to sell Pringles Cheez-Ums? They are delicious and nutritious but the gratuitous product placement was a little over the top. You make me sick!! But not too sick, because I am going to get me some delicious Pringles Cheez-Ums right now!!

Guess Who?

Ummm... it sounds like Brian Hollingsworth of Andrew Rudd, but then again, it could be one of my brothers, or just about anyone. Heck, it could be David Crowder...

So... who are you? C'mon, I'm dyin'

Heyyyyyyyy Jim, you got me sufficiently curious, so I looked up who was visiting my blog on March 7th at 5:30pm, and who was visiting my blog on March 8th at 9:01pm, and you're the only one that fit the bill. Unless, there's someone else from Richmond Virginia with a Comcast cable connection IP address 68.57.66.239 who visited my website. P.S., you really should think about updating your firefox... 1.0.7 is old by now, you can get 2.0.0 if you want.

Cheez-Uums?

I know someone who is insane over cheese...

The video is cool, I am always impressed with you guys, spending your time going to places like NO and helping those less fortunate. Makes me feel pretty selfish.

The photos are some of the best I have seen you take, color range and contrast ranges are nice.

You have that ELEK look Dad used to give me sometimes in that pic where you are holding out the camera...somehow we all got Dad's eye's...or ability to convey exactly what you are feeling through them the way he does.

Crazy.

You Dad is really good at communicating without words. Hence, our family is pretty good about reading body language.

Yes, you all have it. (says she with a pursed pucker)
